Anything we want to accomplish in life first begins with the belief that we can. Listen y'all I have been desiring, pondering and planning this next chapter in my life for quite some time and have even been encouraged by others. Well the time has come where I have decided to step out on faith - scared and all - to move forward in the design life. The above picture is just the beginning. We are past the incubator stage, we are in labor and delivery.
As much of a lover of fashion that i am, my faith trumps everythiing and as I was contemplating moving forward I became so afraid of the what ifs...what if no one likes my designs, what if no one purchases my patterns, what if the site crashes etc etc etc. I was immediately reminded of the scripture that says "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7. This verse invigorated me and one day when I awakened I excitedly began the process.

The hightlight of this dress are the puffy sleeves and there are other exciting options. I can't wait to tell and show more when the pattern releases.
