Growing up in church..my mother and church family made sure we learned scriptures that affirmed who and what we are. One of those being I Peter 2:9 “But ye are a CHOSEN GENERATION, a ROYAL PRIESTHOOD, a HOLY NATION, a PECULIAR PEOPLE.” It was pressed upon us that we were different and we did not have to conform to be like others. We were special, we were royalty. This morning I was brought to tears as I shared and impressed this upon the two greatest gifts I’ll ever receive on this earth, my daughters.
It’s okay to be different and not do what everyone else does. It’s okay to stand out, not to be seen, but rather to hold up a standard. No one determines what cool is for you because the coolest thing about being cool is being yourself. ❤️😍
Now can we get into this look. I’m beyond elated. My oldest baby taped my very first PRINTED,TAPED, CUT and HANDMADE PDF PATTERN.
I could not get with the PDF thing but August @sewyourview BABY THAT TECOMA BLOUSE BY MOOD WAS A MUST DO!
I spotted this vibrant upholstery fabric and purchased it for my shop but knew Tecoma and the upholstery had to collide (psst it's available at the shop too). The fabric is a woven linen upholstery textile and it's 58 inches wide, medium weight too.
Boy am I glad about my fabric choice.
